1.What do you think causes the achievement gap? I think that the cause for the achievement gap is that many kids , rather be popular, and cool, instead of smart and successful.
2.What can students do to close the gap? (3)I think that students can do more work and study harder. I also think that as students we can pay more attention at school and less time to our friends. We could also try very hard to make goals and accomplish them.
3.What can parents do? (3)Parents can ask their child if they have or need help with homework.Parents can also encourage their child to do better in school.Parents should push their child even if it meant to try the est they ever tried.
4.What can teachers / schools do? Teachers could stop giving everuone a different expectation, and wish everyone their best. I thought he was a very intelligent man, and that he is a very good person. Who did good things.
2.Tom Hayden does not think of himself as a civil rights leader. Do you see him as a civil rigths leader?Why or why not?. I see him as, not of a civil rigths leader, but as a civil rigths follower.He didn't start his own party , but he did believe in civil rigths.
3.Tom Hayden feels that leaders are not as important as the hundreds and thousands of people behind them.What does he mean by that?I think he meant that everyone is as important as a leader .Everyone has to lead.
